The Technical Support Committee (TSC) is the technical branch of the Peace, Security and Cooperation (PSC) Framework agreement. It comprises senior government representatives of the signatory countries of the PSC Framework, as well as senior officials from the Guarantors (United Nations, African Union - AU, International Conference on the Great Lakes Region - ICGLR, and the Southern African Development Community - SADC). It was mandated to, inter alia, develop a detailed plan of action for the implementation of the regional commitments with benchmarks and follow up measures.
The TSC meets every two to three months to review progress of the implementation process. The Office of the United Nations Special Envoy for the Great Lakes region, the AU and ICGLR Executive Secretary act as the Secretariat and provide support to the work of the TSC and other high level meetings. The TSC held its first meeting on 24 June 2013.
