Kinshasa, 30 September 2020 – While on official visit to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Special Envoy Huang Xia visited the National Institute for Biomedical Research. Built in 1975, the National Institute for Biomedical Research is located in Kinshasa, the country’s capital, with Dr. Muyembe-Tamfum as its Managing Director. Mr. Xia praised the medical center for its professionalism in its handling of the COVID-19 tests in Kinshasa.
