The OPCW and the UN jointly announce the formal establishment of the OPCW-UN Joint Mission and the appointment of Ms. Sigrid Kaag of the Netherlands as Special Coordinator. The two organizations also establish separate but complementary Trust Funds to support Joint Mission operations.
